Research

Animal Communication and Cognition

My primary research interests are in the fields of animal communication and cognition, with a particular focus on marine mammals. I am interested in exploring the ways in which evolutionary processes, behavioral patterns, environment, and social structures shape the vocal and cognitive abilities of these animals. By examining how these factors intersect, I aim to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the complexities of marine mammal communication, as well as the broader implications for cognition within animal populations.
